The 69th Annual Congressional Dinner a sell out at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, DC!
The Foundation’s Annual Congressional Dinner is a premier fundraising event featuring representatives from the Washington media, political leaders, and other luminaries. Traditionally held in winter, the event honors the accomplishments of distinguished journalists, raises funds for internships and scholarships, and brings together newsmakers and reporters for an evening of good-natured camaraderie.

This year's master of ceremonies Major Garrett of CBS News kept the pace quick as the two featured speakers, Representative Jason Chaffetz of Utah and Senator Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota won over the crowd of 700 plus members of Congress, Hill staff and journalists and proved there was no shortage of charm and wit on Capitol Hill. Lynn Povich accepted the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award and Allison Sherry took the 2012 David Lynch Prize.
